Welcome to the newest blog on issues in e-discovery, brought to you by ESI Attorneys, a law firm devoted to assisting clients with managing ESI, and dealing with issues related to producing ESI in litigation. With hosts of legal blogs out there on e-discovery, you might ask — do we really need another one? And you might be right, after all, there are only so many tweets, blog posts, RSS feeds and emails one person can read in a day. Our goal is to bring you a blog of practical tips and information where you can learn how to reduce the costs and risk associated with the discovery of ESI. Here is what you can expect to see:
- Our Tip of the Week, aptly named as a new tip will be added each week, will offer strategies on best uses of technology to maximize your current IT infrastructure and leverage what you already have to manage ESI as well as information on what’s out there in the market to assist.
- Creating ESI data maps is a large part of what we do, and as clients are now understanding how crucial that step is to understanding their sources of ESI, we will feature tips, webinars and podcasts on that subject regularly.
- Because we are lawyers, we just can’t let the decisions that shape the discovery of ESI get away without a mention, and you’ll find those in Case Law.
In short, we will share the issues we cope with daily so you can benefit from our experience. Where other bloggers have provided insights you really should read, we will link to them unabashedly. Along the way, we will throw in a mix of humor, bewilderment, frustration and resignation — the complete range of emotions we experience on a daily basis in this niche of the law. So, welcome, we hope you’ll stop by often, and if you have a topic or question you’d like to have information on, please drop us a line.
